Gardner Edgerton USD 231 continues to work through the school boundary planning process to support our growing community and plan for the future of our schools.
Over the past several weeks, the Boundary Advisory Committee has reviewed enrollment trends, school capacities, projected growth, and potential boundary adjustments. As part of this process, we are now inviting families, staff, and community members to review the proposed boundary maps and share their feedback.
Review the Proposed Boundary Maps
Before completing the survey, we encourage you to explore the interactive Concept Maps, search your address to see how the proposed boundaries may affect your area, and review the information packet shared during the two in-person public input sessions. All maps and supporting materials are available through the survey link below.
Share Your Feedback
You will notice the first question intentionally provides only two options. We recognize that neither option may fully reflect your preferences. This question asks which option best aligns with the criteria that are most important to you. You will also notice that there is a comments section in the survey where you can explain why you dislike both options. Your input is an important part of this process and will help guide the committee, district leadership, and the Board of Education as they evaluate potential boundary adjustments.
The survey will remain open until November 4, 2026.

Please note that the proposed boundaries are for community review and have not been finalized.
What Happens Next?
Following the survey period, the Boundary Advisory Committee and District leadership will review community feedback as part of the ongoing planning process. The Board of Education will review the revised maps at its November meeting and may vote on a final boundary map at the December meeting.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in Gardner Edgerton USD 231. Your feedback plays an important role in shaping decisions that support our students, families, and schools.
We encourage everyone to make their voices heard by completing the survey by November 4!
