Grand Star Elementary students got a firsthand look at a variety of careers during the school’s Career Day. Community members from a wide range of professions visited the school to share their work and answer questions from curious students.
Representatives included a police officer, a judge, physical therapist, transportation professional, interior designer, pilot, franchise owner, banker, rancher and more!
Throughout the event, students learned about the education, training, and skills needed for each career. Visitors shared personal experiences, demonstrated tools of their trade, and encouraged students to think about their own future goals.
Teachers and staff said the event was a great opportunity for students to connect classroom learning to real-world careers while building excitement about future possibilities. It inspired students to dream big and explore the many opportunities that await them!
