On April 6 and 7, 2023, district and building administrators, along with Board of Education Member Jeff Miller, took the next steps in the development of a DRAFT strategic plan. During their time together, the team took time to assess the current state of the school district.
The group's work included the proposal of goals and objectives that will enable the district to achieve its vision and mission. The team discussed strategies and action plans and how this work can be monitored and evaluated.
It is important that patrons know the school district and Board of Education are committed to continuously monitoring and evaluating our progress toward achieving our goals and making adjustments as needed to ensure that we are providing the best possible education to our students.
This draft is also based on feedback provided by focus groups collected in the Fall of 2022.
Once the draft is completed, it will be shared with the Board of Education and the public to gather feedback. This feedback will then be incorporated into the final document. The hope is that the plan is in place for the 2023-24 school year.
