Qualified Admissions for Kansas Board of Regents Institutions
Qualified Admissions (QA) are a set of standards used by five of the six state universities to review applicants for undergraduate admission. The universities that use QA are: Emporia State University, Ft Hays State University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University, and Wichita State University. The standards are set by the Kansas Board of Regents, the governing body for the universities.
Students graduating from an accredited Kansas high school, under the age of 21, MUST:
1) Complete the pre-college or Kansas Scholars Curriculum with at least a 2.00 GPA;
2) Achieve ONE of the following: ACT scores of 21 or higher; OR SAT Score of 980 or higher; OR Graduate in the top one-third of their class;
3) Achieve a 2.00 GPA or higher on any college credit course taken in high school
