Gardner Edgerton Youth Theatre Academy students will present Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr., a 60-minute adaptation of the popular book series by Barbara Park, June 26-28 at Wheatridge Middle School.
The musical follows the adventures of Junie B. Jones as she navigates the excitement and challenges of starting first grade. Featuring a book and lyrics by Marcy Heisler and music by Zina Goldrich, the show celebrates the joys and struggles of growing up.
“Growing up is hard, scary, and exciting all at once, and this show perfectly captures the magic of childhood,” said GEYTA Managing Director Courtney Smith.
Performances are June 26 at 7 p.m., June 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and June 28 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children 5 and under. Tickets will be available at the door, cash only.
