The first-ever USD 231 Art Competition was organized by senior Kinsey Savage and brought together artwork from every USD 231 school and grade level in an impressive celebration of creativity and talent.
The exhibit featured a wide variety of artwork, including drawings, paintings, and sculptures created by students of all ages. Families, staff, and community members attended the event to support the young artists and admire their work.
One staff member shared, “This was one of the most impressive displays of talent I’ve seen in my eight years in this building.”
Awards were also presented to outstanding artists in several categories, making the evening both a showcase and a celebration of student achievement. Thanks to Savage’s leadership and vision, the inaugural USD 231 Art Competition was a tremendous success and a reminder of the artistic talent throughout our schools.
