During the April Board of Education meeting, the next phase in naming the new elementary school was discussed. Each board member has reviewed the submitted entries and, with the community’s input as a guide, has selected their top choices.

The next step is to invite the community, staff, and students to rank the names via the “Top Choices Ranking Form." The form will be available for submissions from April 14 to May 7, 2026. The results of the “Top Choices Ranking Form” will be compiled and attached to the agenda for the May 11, 2026, regular board meeting, where the final decision will be made. As a reminder, these results will guide the board's decision, but there is no guarantee that the top vote-getter will be the final selection.
