Families recently gathered for a fun and interactive “Six Seven” Math and Reading Night at Sunflower Elementary. This year, they combined the school’s math and reading night with a Book Fair for one engaging event. Centered on the numbers six and seven, students in preschool through fourth grade rotated through hands-on math, literacy, and movement activities.

Students collected stamps on activity cards at each station for a chance to win a “Six Seven” activity book, and grade-level estimation jars offered board game prizes for the closest guesses. From dice games and multiplication challenges to number-themed books and 67-second gym fitness activities, the evening blended learning and fun while offering families meaningful ways to support their children at home.
