The September 14, 2020 Board of Education meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Board of Education in rooms AB&C.
This meeting will be live-streamed as well. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, board members, administration, and a GENEA representative will be sitting at a minimum 6-foot distance inside the meeting room.
The board room will accommodate a speaker if any wish to address the board. There will be 9 chairs that will be socially distanced in the lobby and the public are welcome to utilize. The lobby will also have a television so the meeting can be viewed. If more than nine people are in attendance, overflow attendees will need to wait in their cars until called to speak or space in the lobby becomes available.
If a member of the public wishes to address the board, they must contact Deb Starling, USD 231 Board Clerk, PRIOR to the meeting and no later than 5:45pm on September 14. Deb will then follow up with details related to this process.
Every person (BOE member, Administration, Public) is required to wear a mask and your temperature will be taken before entering the building.
Should Johnson County Health and Environment change the number of people who can safely attend the meeting, we will host the meeting virtually.
