The Special Services Parent Advisory Council (SSPAC) is an organization of parents and patrons whose focus is to work collaboratively to support the needs of all students and families. The Council supports families by providing valuable information, sharing of experiences and resources to create and nurture a community of networking and open communication. Mentoring, problem solving and planning, as well as, advocacy for exceptional students are topics of discussion. To learn more about the SSPAC organization, click the apple below.
Goals of SSPAC
- Provide a network of support for families, including access to information, training and community events.
- Create a parent mentoring program for new and existing families entering the school district.
- Introduce new families to the communities of Gardner and Edgerton and the resources that are available.
- Provide consistent, timely and informative communication tool for families to learn more about topics related to special services, activities, and events.
