Mustang Site Council

Site Council serves an important role in school communication and ongoing improvement.  Site Council is kept abreast of important aspects of school life, provides input regarding issues facing the school, and is part of the overall school improvement process.  Site Council is composed of parents, business leaders, teachers, students, and administration.  All Site Council meetings are open to patrons of WMS.

Recently the council has chosen to take on a specific school improvement goal per year.  In 2011-12 the council aided in the drafting and provision of a parent survey which garnered exceptional feedback that has driven school planning for the 2012-2013 school year.  Additionally the parking lot safety communication was led by and supported by this committee.

Current proposals for a school target this year include support of the Mustang Mentor Program.  Final decisions and additional targets will be set at the first meeting.
