State Standard of Excellence

2005 - Gardner Edgerton High School achieves the State Standard of Excellence in all four subject areas tested:  Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies (History/Government).

2005 - Reading Assessment:  GEHS achieves the second highest percentage of students scoring at the Proficient level and above among 19 Johnson County public and private* high schools.

2005  - Math Assessment:  GEHS achieves the third highest percentage of students scoring at the proficient level or above among 19 Johnson County public and private* high schools.

2005 - GEHS is among only four Johnson County high schools to achieve the State Standard of Excellence in all four subject areas tested:  Reading, Math, Social Studies and Science.

2005 - Gardner Edgerton High School posts the highest averaged test scores (reading and math) among all Johnson county public school districts.

2006 - Gardner Edgerton High School achieves the State Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math.

2007- Gardner Edgerton High School achieves the State Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math.

2008 - Gardner Edgerton High School achieves the State Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math.

2009 - Gardner Edgerton High School achieves the State Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math.

2010 - Gardner Edgerton High School achieves the State Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math.
