In an effort to better serve USD 231 parents and students, First Student has changed their enrollment process.   In most circumstances, a transportation enrollment form will no longer need to be filled out on a yearly basis. There are, however, some instances where a form must be completed.

A transportation form is required under the following circumstances:

-     Your student was not actively riding the bus as of May 2012.

-     Your student will be in preschool or kindergarten in the 2012/2013 school year.

-     Your address/daycare information is different from the 2011/2012 school year.

-     You owe bus fees for the 2011/2012 school year.

You can begin the transportation enrollment process by contacting First Student at 913-856-5650.  A form can also be picked-up at the Transportation Dept., 19450 S. Gardner Rd., Gardner, Kansas; or can be mailed or faxed to you by calling 913-856-5650.   Please return transportation enrollment forms to the drop box at the above address, mail to the above address or fax to the Transportation office at 913-856-5690.  You can also turn them into the Transportation table set up at Open Enrollment at your child’s school.   Please do not turn your form into the school.  Turning your form into the school will add processing time.
